Ready to roll out Fish Fry Platter - 14 fabulous new recordings combining the production talents of Fish Fry members and alumni, Kim, Ian and Scotty Scott Chapman.
Saturday Night was Fish Fry's second album recorded at Paradise Studios in Sydney and featuring Daryl Aberhart on keyboards. More great Louis Jordan classics including our namesake "Saturday Night Fish Fry" and an old favourite "Gigolo-Ain't Got Nobody".
Fish Fry's Run Your Mouth was our first recording made over one night in the Newcastle Regional Museum. Tape & post production was done by Scotty Scott. It includes much of the Fish Fry standard repertoire over the years with nos. by Loius Jordan (Jumpin Jive) , Ray Charles & Georgie Fame. Papa's Bag by James Brown has become a touchstone end of the night number. Rough but righteous !
